Koro-sensei

The Ultimate Homeroom Teacher
animeEducatorJapaneseAssassination Classroom
"My young assassins… You who are about to cut down a single life… Surely you know better than anyone the value of life… because you've studied… fretted… and really thought this through. You are what gave my life value. As I fostered you all… you fostered me. So please… here, now… reap me with your finest bloodlust. If I could help nurture these 28 souls as they move into the future… I would be so happy, I could die. It was a really… really fun year. From one traveler to another… a yell… for all of life!"
— Assassination Classroom, Season 2, Episode 24 ('Graduation Time')

Spoken as he lies pinned down by the students of Class 3-E under the night sky, conducting one final roll call and offering his final words of guidance before Nagisa drives the knife into his heart to assassinate him.

An incredibly powerful, tentacled alien-like creature who threatened to destroy Earth but became the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. He dedicated his life to teaching his students academic knowledge, survival skills, and life lessons, creating a deep bond with them.

"The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried."
"Broadly speaking, there are two reasons a person decides to teach: either they want to show off their successes, or they want to prevent others from making the same mistakes."
"It was a really… really fun year."
The Power of Mistakes: Failures and mistakes are the best teachers; a true student uses their shortcomings as stepping stones to grow stronger.
Respect for Life: In order to assassinate someone or take a life, one must fully understand the immense weight and value of that life.
Fostering Growth: A teacher's role is to adapt to each student's unique needs, helping them discover their strengths and thrive in the future.

He allowed his students to assassinate him at his weak point (the heart) using special anti-sensei weapons, disintegrating into beautiful particles of light under the moonlit forest.

"The ultimate educator whose lessons of compassion, resilience, and growth transformed a class of misfits into successful, confident young adults."
