Spoken as he lies bleeding on the ramp next to his weeping sister Nunnally, having orchestrated his own assassination by Suzaku (disguised as Zero) to unite the world's hatred on himself and usher in a peaceful era.

Brief Chronicle

A disgraced prince of the Holy Britannian Empire who acquired the power of Geassβ€”the power of absolute obedience. Under the alter-ego Zero, he led the Black Rebellion against Britannia to create a gentle world for his sister, Nunnally. Despite committing terrible sins, he ultimately sacrificed his own life to purge the world of hatred.

Core Philosophy

The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. A leader must take ultimate responsibility for their actions and the blood they spill.
If strength is needed to protect the weak, one must become a demon to defeat a greater evil, even if it means being hated by the very people they are trying to save.
A gentle world cannot be built on empty ideals; it requires the destruction of the old, corrupt systems, even if one must destroy the world to rebuild it.

The Farewell Moment

He engineered the Zero Requiem, making himself the ultimate tyrant and enemy of the world. He then had his friend Suzaku Kururugi dress as Zero and publicly assassinate him, transferring all the world's malice to his own death and paving the way for a peaceful future.
